Introduction

  1. The educational system of referees consists of qualification training of referees in Walking basketball and with division into individual levels.
  2. The education system consists of individual articles of education in specialized decision-making activities so as to enable qualified management of competitions at all levels by the authorized person(s).
  3. The competent authority responsible for training referees and giving an opinion on the possible award of a certificate to a trained person is the National Commission for Walking Basketball (NCWB).

Art. 1

Breakdown of qualifications

  • a) The National Commission of Walking Basketball in cooperation with the relevant National Basketball Association, or faculties of universities with a physical education and sports program, designate the competent person(s) performing specialized training activities in the field of education of Walking Basketball referees.
  • (b) The category of arbitrator shall comprise:

referee of the first qualification level, referee of the second qualification level,

Art. 2

Conditions for granting a qualification level in the category of referee Walking basketball

  • To engage in refereeing in the field of walking basketball, a person’s professional competence is recognized if, as part of the training, he or she has completed the scope and content of instruction necessary for the recognition of a particular professional competence.
  • Professional competence shall be recognised:
  • graduates of an educational training programme carried out by an authorized person, if they successfully complete the training completed by the evaluation process.
  • graduates of an accredited bachelor’s degree or master’s degree at the relevant higher education institution specializing in basketball, if they successfully complete the evaluation process.

Art. 3

Conditions for obtaining a Walking Basketball Referee’s License

  • A Walking Basketball Referee license is assigned by the Walking Basketball Commission.

On the day of issuance of the certificate of completion of the relevant KWB training program, the authorization to conduct arbitration activities for the needs of the WB is granted.

  • The conditions for obtaining the qualification of an arbitrator according to individual qualification levels are

Following:

Referee of the first qualification level

The condition is

  • graduate of specialized training (NCWB) and
  • 2 years of experience in Walking Basketball decision-making

Referee of the second qualification level

The condition is a graduate of specialized KWB training

Art. 4

  • Time range of training in the Walking Basketball referee category:

The minimum hourly subsidy of specialized training for fulfilling the profile of a graduate in the category of WB referee in individual qualification levels is as follows:

Referee of the first qualification level: 14 hours, of which 4 hours subjects within the general basis and 10 hours subjects within the specialization.

Referee of the second qualification level: 18 hours, of which 6 hours subjects within general basis and 12-hour subjects within the specialty.

Art. 6

Final exam in the category of WB referee

  1. After completing each level of education, an examination will be conducted in written form from the general part and from the sports part .
  2. The head of the training shall sign the report on the examination carried out and submit it to the commissioner of the Walking Basketball Commission.
